Every time I see Lachy Doley, I ask him about a live album! Can't believe this one's been sitting around for 4 years & I'm only seeing it now (I REALLY need to get out more!!)! Rich, earthy, warm, The LDG is like a party at an island getaway (who remembers those?)—or Woodstock or something—set aside your cares for awhile & lose yourself in the wall of sound... Incredible passion in his music... the singing is great, ans his command of the Hammond Organ is off the Charts! If you can't get into the groove listening to Lachy, you better check your pulse... His cover of Gimme Some Lovin is off the hook, and Voodoo Child is an exploration in new and creative was to properly abuse a Hohner Whammy Clavichord!
